Sunil Singh believes in the power of mathematical stories and mathematics being a needed interdisciplinary subject for the future. To fulfill this desire, he has romantic aspirations of returning the subject back to the Renaissance Era of artistic and philosophical wonder.

This longtime vision broadened his passion for writing such that, in 2024, he became the first person in the world to write scholarly books on mathematics and rock music.

He has spoken around the world, including places like New York’s Museum of Mathematics and Toronto’s Fields Institute. In 2021, The United States Commission on Mathematics Instruction invited him to present a webinar on culturally responsive mathematics.

In 2025, he was a co-organizer of The Global Math Summit in Sardinia. In 2027, he will be leading the initiative of establishing a permanent Math Retreat in Banff, Canada.
